Taking Pills on Tisha B'Av
Question
Hello, I consulted with the women's hotline of the clinic I am at regarding taking pills on Tisha B'Av. They answered me that I must take them at the scheduled time, but the question about drinking water is a matter for a Rabbi. Therefore, I would appreciate it if I could know whether it is permitted to take the pill with water on the fast. Thank you very much!!

If you cannot swallow the pill without water, you may take the pill with a small amount of bitter water, such as strong tea without sugar.
