What blessing is said over heart of palm?

In earlier generations, the blessing on palm hearts was "Shehakol," because the main reason for cultivating the date palm tree was for the consumption of dates. However, it has been clarified that the palms available today (which are found in canned form) are specifically cultivated for their hearts and not for dates. Therefore, one should recite the blessing "Borei Peri Ha'adamah" on them.
