Is it permissible for a married man to be intimate with any woman, and this is not considered adultery?

AA

Question

Yesterday I told my husband that a friend of mine is divorced and her married boss was starting to request that she come over for intimacy. I was surprised by my husband's response that a married man is allowed to be intimate with any woman only if she has immersed (in a mikvah), and even if he does not ask his wife, it is not considered adultery.
I was always taught that marriage means loyalty to one another.
And suddenly I discover that a man is allowed to do anything.
It feels like the bond of marriage is one-sided,
which confines the woman and gives superiority to the man.
Is this what our Torah allows?????????..

Answer

Hello and greetings

This is not correct at all.

It is true that when a woman is a pure single woman, there is no prohibition of adultery for either party because they have not sinned with a married woman and there is no prohibition of niddah (menstrual impurity) since she has immersed.

However, there is a severe prohibition of Znut (fornication) and a severe prohibition of betrayal to his wife, as explained here
