Dreaming of Tallit, What Does It Mean?
Question
With the help of Heaven, honored Rabbi, greetings. I dreamt that as I was about to wrap myself in a tallit (prior to the morning prayer), someone approached me and told me that I was not wrapping myself correctly. (He explained to me how it should be done by changing one detail, but in reality, that is not how the halacha is; I was correct in how I wrapped myself.) This was a bit stressful, and it seemed to me that I listened to him. The dream occurred during Shacharit. (That is, when I awoke from the dream, it was around 7-8 in the morning.) I would appreciate an interpretation if there is one. Thank you.
Answer
Greetings,
According to the Zohar in Parashat Shelach, seeing a tallit with tzitzit in a dream is considered a difficult dream since all colors are good in a dream except for the color techelet (blue). In ancient times, techelet was included in the tzitzit strings, which indicates judgments, and one needs to rectify the dream. However, today, since all tzitzit are white, there is no harsh interpretation, rather, on the contrary, it is all kindness and mercy.
Wishing you success - Menashe Israel
