What Blessing is Recited on Cooked Wheat

AA

Question

Hello, Honorable Rabbi, I would like to ask what is the first blessing recited on cooked wheat—chamin? Is there a different blessing for shalva? Granola? And what is the final blessing, is it "Borei Nefashot" or "Al HaMichya"? Is there a difference between cooked and uncooked? If so, why? Thank you very much!!

Answer

Hello, be blessed

For cooked wheat, we recite mezonot.

For shalva - ha'adama.

For granola - *ha'adama*.

With blessing,

Binyamin Shmueli
