Is it permissible to eat tuna after meat?

Greetings,
After consuming meat, one must wash their hands, drink a beverage, and eat some solid food, such as bread or the like, and then it is permissible to eat the tuna. (Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh De'ah, Siman 116, Seif 3. Yalkut Yosef, Shabbat Vol. 1, p. 8).
