Blue Tzitzit Thread
G-d promises us that the Torah will never be forgotten by the Jewish people, and what we have today was what was given to Moshe on Mount Sinai. Nothing was added or changed. If so, how can it be that the tchelet thread used in tzitzit, which is a mitzvah from the Torah and the method for its preparation was given to Moshe on Mount Sinai by way of the Oral Torah, is any different from other mitzvoth that we can no longer keep, such as those of the Bait Hamikdash? We don’t keep those mitzvoth because the Holy Temple no longer exists, so why don’t we still prepare and use tchelet thread in tzitzit?
