Terror attacks

The Shin Bet and the IDF have revealed the identities of Hamas operatives working from Turkey to advance terror activity in Judea and Samaria. According to security officials, dozens of attacks foiled over the past year were directed by them through recruitment, financing, and the transfer of weapons.

The Knesset has passed a law in its second and third readings to deduct funds from transfers to the Palestinian Authority over damages caused by terror attacks. The money will first go to families of terror victims, with any remaining balance transferred to the state treasury.

Israel’s Defense Ministry and the National Insurance Institute released updated figures: 25,644 fallen service members and 5,313 civilians killed in terror since 1860; 59,583 bereaved family members today. Ceremonies may be limited due to security; 79 civilians were murdered since last Memorial Day.
