Morocco, Albania, and Greece are expected to join the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza as part of Phase II of the Trump administration’s ceasefire plan between Israel and Hamas, according to KAN News.

The expansion marks a shift to operational planning, as the U.S.-backed multinational force moves toward deployment in the coming months. The ISF is intended to supervise ceasefire lines and assist in law enforcement training during the next phase of the truce but is not expected to confront or disarm Hamas terrorists directly.

KAN News reported that representatives from the American command based in Kiryat Gat have contacted the IDF Southern Command in recent days to coordinate entry into an area between Rafah and Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. The coordination is part of preparations to construct a large base that will house personnel from multiple foreign militaries.

According to the report, American representatives and civilian contractors are expected to enter the area to begin planning and construction of the facility, with work scheduled to start toward the end of the month. The base is expected to serve as the primary operational hub for the multinational force inside Gaza.

Indonesia was the first country to confirm participation in the ISF. The Associated Press reported that Jakarta plans to deploy an initial contingent of approximately 1,000 troops in April, with the force potentially expanding to around 8,000 soldiers by June. Indonesian officials have stated that the deployment remains contingent on security conditions inside Gaza and could be postponed if fighting resumes.

The reported expansion comes ahead of Thursday’s Board of Peace summit in the United State, where U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to host international partners to advance the reconstruction and stabilization framework for Gaza. Trump has previously said that Board of Peace members have pledged more than $5 billion toward Gaza reconstruction efforts. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is expected to attend the summit in Washington.

While Morocco, Albania, and Greece are reported to be in advanced talks regarding joining the ISF, no specific deployment timelines have been announced for the three countries. Morocco would be the first Arab state expected to participate in the mission.

Additional countries have been mentioned in past reports as potential contributors, but to date, Indonesia remains the only country to publicly confirm troop numbers and a projected deployment timeline.
