Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a short recorded statement this evening (Monday), responding to President Donald Trump’s announcement about the possibility of negotiations with Iran.
Netanyahu said: "Earlier today I spoke with our friend, President Trump. He believes there is a chance to leverage the significant achievements of the IDF and the U.S. military to reach an agreement—an agreement that will safeguard our vital interests."
"We continue to strike, in Iran and in Lebanon. We are crushing the nuclear program and the missile program to the core. We continue to hit Hezbollah hard. In just the last few days, we eliminated two more nuclear scientists, and there is more to come. We will protect our vital interests—in any situation."
