The IDF spokesperson said today (Tuesday) that overnight the IDF struck another key crossing on the Litani River, which Hezbollah operatives used to move between the north and south banks of the river. According to the statement, the crossing was used to transfer weapons, rockets, and launchers, as part of the organization’s preparations to carry out terror plans against IDF forces operating in the area.
The IDF emphasized that this strike adds to a series of attacks carried out over the past week against additional crossings in the area, as part of an ongoing effort to disrupt Hezbollah’s transportation and logistics routes in southern Lebanon. "The IDF will continue to act forcefully against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which chose to join the fighting and operate under the auspices of the Iranian terror regime, and will not allow harm to Israeli civilians," the statement said.
In addition, the IDF spokesperson announced that ground activity is also continuing in the Lebanese Har Dov area. Troops from the 810th "Mountains" Brigade, operating under Division 210 as part of the forward-defense effort, carried out a targeted raid during which a shaft used by Hezbollah was located. In a separate operation in the area, the forces destroyed a Hezbollah weapons compound.
