A broad wave of attacks was felt today (Sunday) across the country, with sirens sounding on nearly every front—from the Negev in the south to the Galilee in the north—following launches from Iran and from Lebanon. Meanwhile, an impact site was located at a factory in the Neot Hovav industrial zone, near Be'er Sheva, where a fire broke out. One person at the scene sustained minor blast injuries, and Magen David Adom medics provided treatment.

The Ramat HaNegev Regional Council said that, following the impact in the industrial zone, there is concern about a hazardous materials incident, but at this stage there is no danger or effect on the council's communities. It added that Fire and Rescue teams are handling the incident at the impact site.

Israel Police began closing Route 40—from Negev Junction northbound and from Ohalim Junction southbound. The council recommends that residents who are currently outside the council area remain in Be'er Sheva until the situation becomes clearer, or alternatively consider arriving via Tze'elim.

Sirens first sounded in Be'er Sheva, in Negev communities, and around the Dead Sea, following a launch from Iran. Shortly after, the alert expanded to the Jerusalem area, the Shfela, Samaria, and Lachish, where interception attempts were carried out.
Sirens had been heard earlier in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area (Gush Dan), in central Israel, and in Jerusalem following launches from Iran. According to reports, several interception attempts were made in central Israel, with at least one launch successfully intercepted.

Sirens also sounded in Tiberias and in additional communities in the Lower Galilee, following fire from Lebanon. Earlier, alerts were activated in Nahariya and in communities in the Western Galilee over a suspected UAV infiltration—a target that was ultimately intercepted. Later, additional alerts were activated in Upper Galilee communities following rocket fire.

According to the IDF Spokesperson, some of the launches from Lebanon were intercepted, while others fell in open areas. Interceptions were also recorded in several locations in the incidents involving launches from Iran.
