Home Front Command Lifts Restrictions Across Israel, With One Key Exception Near the Northern Border
After Israel and Iran announced a halt to their mutual attacks, the Home Front Command canceled the restrictions imposed last night. Schools will reopen tomorrow. In the confrontation-line communities, restrictions remain in place over concerns about fire from Lebanon.

Until tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 6:00 a.m., the current defensive policy will remain unchanged. Tomorrow, from 6:00 a.m. until Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the defensive policy will be updated, subject to a situational assessment, as follows:
In the confrontation-line guidance area and in the communities of Sifsufa, Meron, Or HaGanuz, Bar Yochai, Yesod HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jan, and Sde Eliezer, the status will shift to partial activity. Educational activities may take place in a building or in a location from which a standard protected space can be reached within the required protection time. According to the IDF, in the rest of the country there will be a return to full activity with no restrictions. The Health Ministry instructed hospitals, health funds, and all institutions in the public health system this evening to return to full operations.
