According to a report today (Tuesday) on Channel 14 News, Lukashenko claimed that "Gaza has been wiped off the face of the earth" and questioned Israel’s right to engage in Holocaust remembrance.
In an interview he gave to the English-language channel "Al Arabiya," the Belarusian president claimed that "Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip have severely damaged its international standing. Israel inflicted extensive harm on the civilian population in the Gaza Strip. What Holocaust can Israelis speak about? They themselves killed so many people, women, and children."
According to him, "Israel is currently suffering from a negative image in the international arena because of the fighting in the Strip. They have already reached a point where their reputation in the world is at a very low point."
Lukashenko also addressed the relationship between Israel and the United States, arguing that Washington has the ability to directly influence Jerusalem’s policy. "Israel is completely dependent on the United States. The U.S. can force a halt to military operations if it chooses to do so."
