In a joint operation involving Border Police undercover units in Judea and Samaria, IDF troops operating under the Menashe Brigade, and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), a wanted terror suspect was arrested this morning (Wednesday) in the village of Silat al-Harithiya, near Jenin.

According to a joint statement from the IDF and Israel Police, the operation was carried out under the direction of the Shin Bet. As part of the mission, undercover officers operated covertly until reaching the building where the suspect was hiding. After completing their deployment around the site, the forces revealed themselves and called on the suspect to exit the building and surrender.

The statement said the suspect complied with the forces' instructions, emerged from the building, and surrendered to the Border Police undercover officers, who arrested him at the scene. He was later transferred to the Shin Bet for further questioning.

The IDF and Israel Police said security forces "will continue to operate decisively, day and night, to thwart terrorism and arrest wanted suspects, with the goal of safeguarding the security of the citizens of the State of Israel."
