The IDF and Shin Bet continue to systematically target terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre in the Gaza border communities. The IDF Spokesperson announced Saturday night that two strikes in the Gaza Strip eliminated a commander from Hamas's weapons production headquarters and a battalion commander in Hamas's Nuseirat Battalion.
In the first strike, carried out Wednesday in the northern Gaza Strip, forces eliminated Khalil Jamal Khalil Manaa, a commander in the production headquarters of Hamas's military wing. Throughout the war, Manaa oversaw launcher production workshops and directed the final stages of their manufacture. He also served as a senior commander in the headquarters' operational and production processes, and played an active role in efforts to rebuild the headquarters' capabilities during the ceasefire period.
In a separate strike carried out two days ago, also in the northern Gaza Strip, forces eliminated Osama Walid Dib Muharab, a platoon commander in Hamas's Nuseirat Battalion. In recent months, Muharab had been found in possession of explosive devices intended for use against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip.
According to Channel 12 News, 2,561 terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre have been eliminated to date. This week alone, four participants in the massacre were killed, among them a cell leader who took part in the assault on the Re'im military base.
On the northern front, troops from the 91st Division identified several Hezbollah operatives transporting anti-tank missiles inside the security zone in southern Lebanon. The operatives entered the zone in a vehicle, unloaded the missiles — intended for use against IDF forces and Israeli civilians — and transferred them into a building in the area. After additional operatives moved weapons into the structure and entered it, the IDF carried out an aerial strike to neutralize the threat. Secondary explosions were observed following the strike, confirming the presence of a substantial weapons cache inside the building.
The IDF further reported that yesterday, forces identified a Hezbollah operative working near the shaft of underground infrastructure on the Ali Taher Ridge, within the security zone where IDF forces are deployed. The operative posed an immediate threat and was neutralized in a precise Israeli Air Force strike.
In an additional strike, a suspect traveling in a vehicle who posed a direct threat to forces operating inside the security zone was also eliminated. IDF forces continue to operate throughout the Ali Taher Ridge area, preventing Hezbollah operatives from surfacing from underground infrastructure and moving freely through the ridge.
