Republican and Democratic lawmakers have condemned a campaign video targeting Jewish Rep. Randy Fine that invokes Adolf Hitler and uses a series of antisemitic stereotypes ahead of Tuesday’s Republican primary in Florida.

Social media personality Dan Bilzerian is challenging Fine for the Republican nomination in Florida’s 6th Congressional District. Bilzerian released the AI-generated video last week as part of a campaign that has repeatedly targeted Fine’s Jewish identity and support for Israel.

The AI-generated ad portrays Fine clutching money and later with horns growing from his head while accusing him of putting Israel ahead of the United States. It also invokes Adolf Hitler, displaying his image while referring to him indirectly as the “Austrian painter.”

Fine accused Bilzerian of promoting Nazism and urged voters to reject the campaign’s rhetoric. The video was released days after someone spray-painted a swastika on one of Fine’s campaign signs outside an early-voting location in Flagler Beach. Police are investigating that incident.

The campaign drew condemnation from senior Republicans, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, Sen. Ted Cruz and Florida Sen. Rick Scott. Johnson called the attacks “vile,” while Cruz said such hatred had no place in the Republican Party. Scott called the campaign “disgusting” and urged Republicans to condemn it.

Democratic leaders also denounced the video. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries described the campaign as "blatantly antisemitic," while 15 Jewish Democratic members of Congress issued a joint statement condemning Bilzerian despite emphasizing their own political disagreements with Fine.

The lawmakers also called on social media companies to remove Bilzerian’s antisemitic posts and urged the National Republican Congressional Committee and other Republicans to distance themselves from his campaign.

Bilzerian has also promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories during the campaign. In recent days, he posted that Florida’s 6th District understands what he called the “Jewish problem.”

Fine, one of a small number of Jewish Republicans in Congress, won the seat in an April 2025 special election and has become an outspoken supporter of Israel and critic of antisemitism.
