Hello… what is the meaning of the sentence: “For out of Zion shall come forth the Torah, and the word of God from Jerusalem”?

כי מציון תצא תורה ודבר ה` מירושלים

Answer

The statement "For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of Hashem from Jerusalem" is derived from the book of Isaiah, chapter 2 (verse 3). This verse describes a vision seen by Isaiah son of Amoz concerning Judah and Jerusalem: (2) And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the house of Hashem shall be established as the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. (3) And many peoples shall go and say, 'Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Hashem, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths.' For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of Hashem from Jerusalem. According to Redak's commentary on Isaiah 51:4, this means that the Messiah will instruct the nations to walk in the ways of Hashem, and this will take place after the war of Gog and Magog:
