How to Perform Havdalah When the Conclusion of Rosh Hashanah Falls on Friday Night?

This year, Rosh Hashanah ends on a Friday. Do we perform Havdalah or not? If not, how do we perform Kiddush? Thank you very much.

1. We do not perform Havdalah at the conclusion of a Yom Tov that falls on Friday night, because we are transitioning from a lighter sanctity to a greater sanctity, and the concept of Havdalah does not apply here; there is no mitzvah of Havdalah (see Rambam, Laws of Shabbat, Chapter 29, Law 18).
2. We perform Kiddush as usual, as we do on any Friday night.
