Is it Permissible for a Groom to Attend a Funeral?

With God's help, greetings. Is it permissible for a groom in his first year of marriage to attend a funeral? Thank you

Greetings,
A groom is allowed to attend a funeral even in the first year of his marriage. Refer to the responsa of the Beitzah of Wisdom, Part 2 (Section 44), which states that only during the seven days of celebration (sheva berakhot) should a groom avoid going to the cemetery.
