Is it Permissible to Sleep with Tzitzit at Night?

AA

Question

If I ate something that required the blessing "Shehakol" and afterwards I drink water, which is under the same blessing, do I need to make a blessing or am I exempt? 2. Another question is, is it permissible to sleep with tzitzit at night? 3. If so, do I need to make a blessing in the morning? 4. Regarding the evening, although there is no obligation to wear a small tzitzit, do I need to make a blessing when putting it on?

Answer

Shalom u'vracha

1. If you did not set aside time for eating, you should make a blessing again.

2. The holy Ari states that one should be diligent to sleep with tzitzit, as it serves as a protective measure against bad dreams and sin.

3. You do not make a blessing in the morning on the tzitzit, and when putting on the tallit, intend to exempt the tzitzit.

4. There is no blessing.
