Shalom! Is it permitted to brush teeth during the lighter fast days, as it is uncomfortable for most, and perhaps this is the essence of the matter?
Answer
Shalom and blessings
On lighter fast days, such as those other than the Ninth of Av or Yom Kippur, an individual in distress may be lenient.
With blessings for a good year
