Dear Rabbi, is it permitted to sew on Chol HaMoed? (either for repairing or making a new garment) Thank you very much.

It is forbidden to sew a new garment. It is permitted to repair a garment that is needed for the festival and which one cannot wear otherwise, provided that the sewing is done in an unskilled manner.
