Using an Electronic Cigarette on Shabbat

Hello, is it permissible to use an electronic cigarette on Shabbat? Thank you and l'chaim.
Answer
To the esteemed inquirer, one must ascertain the source of the electronic component within the personal electronic cigarette. If it contains a battery that requires charging each time, it is forbidden to use it on Shabbat, as is the case with any device operated by batteries.
