Is it Permissible to Pray Using a Phone?
Question
Is it allowed to recite Shacharit and the Amidah (Shemoneh Esrei) through a phone application (while the phone is set so it cannot receive messages, notifications, or calls)? I have been praying using an app called "Tefilon" for some time, but I am not sure if it is permitted. Thank you very much.

Greetings, It is permitted to pray using a cellphone when it is set to airplane mode or a state in which it cannot receive calls, etc. However, if there is concern that others might suspect the person is using the phone for unrelated purposes during prayer, it is advisable to avoid doing so.
