Tefillin That Fell While Inside a Case: What Should One Do?

I placed my husband's tefillin on the baby carriage, and while ascending the stairs, the tefillin fell onto the floor (the tefillin were inside their case). What should I do?

Greetings, since the tefillin were inside their case, there is no need to fast or redeem a fast with money, but it is advisable to give a penny to charity.
