Is it permitted for women to get haircuts during Chol HaMoed?

I would like to ask, please, whether it is permitted for women to get haircuts during Chol HaMoed?

Shalom rav,
It is forbidden for women to get haircuts during Chol HaMoed (Mishnah Berurah, siman 546, s.k. 16, in the name of the Gra and Pri Megadim). However, they are permitted to remove body hair, whether by hand or with a tool (Shulchan Aruch there, section 5. See also Chazon Ovadia, Yom Tov, page 211, which states that in his view this leniency applies specifically to married women).
