Handwashing for One Who Wakes Up at Night to Use the Bathroom and Returns to Sleep
Question
What is the halacha regarding handwashing if a person wakes up at night to use the bathroom and immediately goes back to sleep?

Greetings,
Each time one gets up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, one should wash one’s hands and recite Asher Yatzar (see Mishnah Berurah, siman 4, s.k. 3); however, one should not recite the blessing over handwashing except after the final rising.
