How Long Does the Conversion Process Take?

Hello, honorable rabbi. I will soon be beginning the conversion process, and I understood that it would be a process of 10 to 12 months. But I heard that a real conversion process takes 6 years. Is that true?

The conversion process does not take six years. Everything depends on your seriousness; the more serious you are about conversion and truly desire to be attached to the people of Hashem, the more quickly you can convert.
