Is it permitted to wear shoes made of artificial leather (synthetic) on Yom Kippur and Tisha B'Av?
Answer
In principle, it is permitted. However, since on Tisha B'Av there is a practice to wear footwear that is less comfortable than usual, it is preferable to wear a less comfortable shoe.
