Morning Prayer for Women

How to Begin Morning Prayers

AA

Question

I am a single, secular woman. I would like to start praying the morning prayer and therefore I would like to know what it is and where I can obtain it.

Thank you very much.

Answer

Hello,

In any siddur (prayer book), you will find the Birchot Hashachar (Morning Blessings) at the beginning, which is where the prayer begins.

The order is as follows:

in the Shacharit Prayer

Modeh/Modah Ani Lefanecha Melech Chai Vekayam... (Morning Blessings & Birkot Hatorah)

In addition, you can say the Shema, which also appears in the siddur:

Shema Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad:
(Whispered - Baruch Shem Kevod Malchuto Le'olam Va'ed): and continues Veahavta.. until Emet

Finally, say the Amidah Prayer:
The Amidah Prayer
