The Forbidden Chapter

No chapter was hidden in Tanach. There is no such thing as a forbidden chapter in Tanach.

The claim you heard is an invention of missionaries in Israel, who call themselves Messianic Jews, and who fabricated this lie in order to draw Jews to the Christian faith in the crucified Jesus.

The chapter the Christians quote from is Isaiah, chapter 53, from which they wanted to claim that it describes the Christian Jesus.

This is, of course, ignorance, because the prophet Isaiah uses many parables and does not describe a specific figure in these chapters. For example, he speaks about the Babylonian exile and the destruction in chapter 52, and in another chapter he describes Jerusalem metaphorically as a barren and impoverished woman in chapter 54, and in chapter 53 Isaiah compares the people of Israel in exile to an afflicted and rejected righteous man. It is important to note that nowhere throughout these chapters does the word Messiah appear!

In order to distort what is said, the Christians, who call themselves by the false name Messianic Jews, will present only chapter 53 out of its original context among the chapters, and claim that the parable of the afflicted righteous man in Isaiah's words is nothing but a prophecy about the crucified Jesus. Aside from the chapter being taken out of context, even according to their view it completely contradicts belief in Jesus, for it is said in the parable about that righteous man that he will be a man of pains and acquainted with illness (verse 3), while Jesus was not sick or disabled and did not suffer pain. It is also said in the parable, He shall see seed, he shall prolong days, and the will of Hashem shall prosper in his hand (verse 10), whereas Jesus was crucified at a young age and left no children after him. The parable also says that when he is killed the righteous man will not say a word: like a lamb led to slaughter... and he shall not open his mouth (verse 7), while the Christian story says that when they seized Jesus he cried, You came out with swords and clubs to seize me, and when they crucified him he cried, My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? And if that were not enough, even about his burial place it says that he would be buried with the wicked (verse 9), whereas according to their story Jesus was buried in the grave of a righteous man from Ramathaim. In addition, it should be known that during chapters 52 and 54 the prophet Isaiah speaks about the exile and prophesies the redemption of all the people of Israel through Hashem, and their salvation from the nations of the world, a prophecy we are still waiting to see fulfilled. This only proves to us that the Messiah has not yet come according to Isaiah. Anyone who reads the entire book of Isaiah in order cannot be mistaken by this distortion invented by the Messianics.
