Answer
Greetings and blessings
Here are the words of our teacher, the author of the holy Or HaChaim, on Bamidbar, chapter 26.
In the statement of Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi (Uktzin 3), who said that in the future Hashem will bestow etc. 310 worlds, and he proves this from the verse (Mishlei 8), "to cause My loved ones to inherit substance," it is difficult according to his words: if the verse intends a number, why did the verse precede the number of ten to the number of hundreds? It should have said, "to cause My loved ones to inherit 310." I heard from the early authorities a pleasing explanation: this number alludes to the four worlds, as is known: Atzilut, Beriah, Yetzirah, Asiyah, and each is comprised of ten. Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi's statement comes to teach that the righteous will delight in abundant peace in the upper world across the four worlds, but their attainment in all of them is not equal. Rather, in three of them they will attain all the levels that are found in them, and these amount to 300. But in the upper world, which is the world of Atzilut, no righteous person will be able to attain except a portion of ten within it, which is also ten in its details, as noted, since each is comprised of ten. You should know that the ten attained from the upper world is great and exceedingly exalted, far above all the 300. For this reason the verse placed the ten before the hundreds and said, "to cause ... to inherit," etc., Yud-Hei.
With blessing,
Benjamin Shmueli
