Are Women Required to Say Tachanun?
Question
Honorable Rabbi, if a woman prays one prayer a day, does she need to say Tachanun on days when Tachanun is recited? Is this an obligation, or may she also refrain from saying it? And what about Vidui in Kriat Shema?

1. Women are exempt from reciting Tachanun (Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, Yalkut Yosef, Siman 131, section 1).
2. Sephardic women recite Vidui in Kriat Shema al HaMitah.
