Question

Hello, honored rabbi.

Is it permitted to bring a cellphone into the bathroom and use it there (not for speaking)?

Thank you

Answer

Shalom,

It is permitted to read and write things on a phone in the bathroom, provided they are not words of Torah.

With blessings,

Hillel Meirs
