How Much Bread Must One Eat to Be Obligated in Birkat Hamazon?

Hello, how many grams of bread must one eat to make the blessing of Birkat Hamazon, and within what timeframe? Thank you

Greetings,
One who eats a kezayit of bread, meaning 27 grams or more, is obligated to recite Birkat Hamazon (see Shulchan Aruch, Orach Chaim 173:6, and Yalkut Yosef there 18).
Ideally, one should eat this amount within four minutes, and if one ate it within seven and a half minutes, one must also recite Birkat Hamazon (see Responsa Yechave Da'at 1:17).
