What Was the Height of the Tower of Babel?

With Hashem's help.

Peace and blessings,

In the Torah it is stated: "Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens" (Bereishit 11).

The Tower of Babel was not completed, but rather was destroyed before it reached the purpose of its construction, and therefore it is difficult to estimate the height intended for it. However, it is understood that it was intended to surpass the heavens, and from this it follows that the tower was taller than an average skyscraper, because its purpose was to rise beyond the clouds.

I saw in some article that according to the Book of Jubilees (which is one of the external books), there is the claim that the Tower of Babel was intended to reach a height of 2,000 meters.

With blessings,
Daniel Balas
