Choosing a Name for a Baby Girl - Shaya and Mial

AA

Question

Hello, esteemed Rabbi, my husband and I are debating between two names -
The first name is Shaya - a gift from Hashem, and the second is Miel, meaning 'from Hashem' (in Spanish, it also means honey).
We wanted to ask if there is any issue with either of these names and which one is preferable?

Answer

Greetings,

Neither name is recommended, and it is advisable to search for another good and successful name.

See a partial list of recommended names for girls at https://www.hidabroot.org/question/254980

We would be happy to assist further, if needed.

Best regards,

Hillel Meirs
