Is the fish 'Aras' kosher?

Hello esteemed Rabbi, I wanted to ask whether the fish known as 'Aras' in the fishing community is a kosher fish. I should mention that this fish is among the most common coastal fish in our land, and when I scrape its tail and back, very small scales remain that are visible to the eye. Despite this, opinions vary among people. What is your view?
