Is It Permissible to Wear Tefillin While Seated?

Hello esteemed Rabbi, I wanted to ask whether it is permissible to wear tefillin while seated instead of standing, for example, when I am on a bus on my way to base. Thank you and have a blessed day.

Hello and greetings.
When there is no other option, it is permitted. Sephardim wear the tefillin of the arm while seated in any case. If it is possible to stand a bit while putting on the tefillin of the head, blessings will come upon you.
