Signing a Contract for Purchasing an Apartment During the Nine Days
Question
Dear Rabbi, I wanted to know since today is the eve of Rosh Chodesh Av and tomorrow (Friday, 06-17) I need to sign an apartment contract. Is it permissible to do so? Or should I wait until after, God willing, Tisha B'Av?
I would appreciate a quick response.

Hello,
You may sign the contract for purchasing an apartment during the Nine Days, as it is a case of potential loss, in case someone else might purchase the apartment before you.
