Is it permissible to give shoes to another person?

Is there a problem with giving away shoes that I have worn to someone in need? I have heard various beliefs that it is considered like passing on luck, etc. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
It is permissible to give shoes to another person. As far as is known, there is no source indicating that this transfers luck - and it appears to be a superstitious belief.
