Washing the House During the Nine Days
Question
Is it permissible to wash the house during the Nine Days in a year when there is no "week that contains"? I request the halacha according to Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l. Thank you.

Hello,
According to the opinion of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l, it is permitted to wash the house as usual during the week that contains Tisha B'Av, and also in a year that has a week which contains Tisha B'Av (Responsa Yabia Omer, Part 3, Part Orach Chaim, Section 54, Paragraph 4, and Hazon Ovadia, The Fast Days, Pages 217-218).
