Hello, I wanted to ask if there are rabbis today who can make decisions and have the ability to see if someone is destined for a specific match or not? I went to Rabbi Suissa in Kiryat Ata, paid a fee, and he said that they do not separate couples but that the answer is negative and that I will have many arguments with the person and not to marry him. Should I listen to this? Or continue the relationship? I am trying to understand if only the Holy Ari could see to whom to match couples. So how are there rabbis today who look through the Bible or according to names and mothers' names and calculate something on a calculator that can advise and say yes or no?

I do not know the esteemed gentleman you consulted, but one should not pay attention to such matters. There are almost no individuals in our generation who can see what will be, except for the true leaders of the generation. I have not heard of Rabbi Suissa being knowledgeable in the Talmud, halachic authorities, and Kabbalistic texts, and it does not seem to me that one should give weight to his words.
