A 5.2-magnitude earthquake centered near Suez was felt across many parts of Israel and triggered Google alerts on some devices. Home Front Command officials are reminding the public what to do during an earthquake.

At Segula Military Cemetery in Petah Tikva, Sgt. Idan Fox, 19, was laid to rest after falling in combat in Lebanon. His mother, Meital, recalled being summoned to a “work meeting” at the council offices, where she received the devastating news.

Sgt. Idan Fox, 19, from Petah Tikva, a fighter in Battalion 77 of the 'Sa'ar MeGolan' formation, was killed by an explosive UAV in fighting in southern Lebanon. An officer and three soldiers were seriously wounded, one was moderately wounded, and another was lightly wounded.
