Dedi Barnea

American company Ondas, which owns several companies in Israel, announced the appointment of former Mossad chief Dedi Barnea as the company’s global president and chairman of Ondas Defense. He will help lead international operations and strengthen cooperation among the group’s companies.

At the ceremony marking the transition between Mossad chiefs, outgoing director David Barnea called for building on Israel’s recent gains against Iran and working to bring down the regime in Tehran. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised him, saying: "Dedi, great things were done on your watch."

Dedi Barnea responds to reports claiming the agency misled U.S. President Donald Trump into thinking Iran’s regime would collapse in the war’s opening days, and says Mossad operated in the heart of Tehran and delivered precise intelligence to the Israeli Air Force.
