Targeted Strike in Gaza Kills Hamas Operations Command Figure
The IDF said it killed Bahaa' Baroud in the Gaza Strip, identifying him as a commander in Hamas's operations headquarters. According to the military, Baroud was involved in planning and advancing numerous terror attacks against IDF forces in Gaza.

According to the IDF, Baroud worked throughout the war, and especially in recent weeks, to plan and advance numerous Hamas terror attacks against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip, and against civilians in the State of Israel.
According to information received, the terrorist posed an immediate threat to IDF forces. The IDF said that "before the strike, steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance".
