According to the report, the Pakistani military deployment began last month and was completed recently. It was carried out במסגרת a defense agreement between the two countries. The agreement was signed about a year ago and obligates Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to defend one another in the event of an attack. It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia was attacked a month and a half ago by Iran, while Pakistan is mediating between Tehran and Washington.
Reuters noted that Pakistan’s fighter jets are Chinese-made, as are the air defense systems. China also supplied Pakistan with drones, and one squadron of them was deployed in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia provides Pakistan with economic assistance.
