Need a quick dessert in a hurry? This incredibly easy chocolate cake comes together in minutes and cooks right in the microwave. With simple pantry ingredients and almost no cleanup, it's the perfect solution when you're craving something sweet but don't want to turn on the oven. Moist, rich, and packed with chocolate flavor, this cake feels almost too easy to be true.
Ingredients
Bowl A
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate drink powder
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
- Optional: chopped nuts
Bowl B
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup sweet wine
- 3 eggs
Instructions
In one bowl, combine all the ingredients from Bowl A and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all the ingredients from Bowl B until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a uniform batter forms.
Transfer the batter to a microwave safe baking dish, pot, or a 10 inch (26 cm) Pyrex dish.
Microwave on high power for 6 to 8 minutes, depending on the strength of your microwave.
Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving.
