These light, delicate crepes are quick to make and perfect for breakfast, dessert, or an indulgent afternoon treat. Fill them with your favorite spreads for a simple yet irresistible dish.
Ingredients
2 eggs
2 tablespoons water
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 packet vanilla sugar
1 tablespoon oil
Instructions
Prepare the Batter
Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Whisk well until smooth.
You may lightly beat the mixture to make it extra airy, but most importantly, make sure there are no lumps in the batter.
Cook the Crepes
Use a good-quality non-stick skillet or a dedicated crepe pan.
Lightly grease the pan with a small amount of oil and heat it well.
Pour a ladleful of batter into the center of the pan.
Immediately tilt and swirl the pan so the batter spreads into a thin, even layer.
Cook for about a minute, or until the edges begin to lift and the underside is lightly golden.
Flip the crepe and cook for another minute on the other side.
Add Your Favorite Filling
Transfer the finished crepe to a plate and spread it with your favorite filling, such as:
Chocolate spread
Nutella
Melted dark chocolate with chopped nuts
Peanut butter
Fruit preserves or jam
Sweet cream cheese
Fresh fruit and whipped cream
Fold or roll the crepe and serve immediately.
Serving Tip
Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate sauce, or top with fresh berries for an extra-special presentation.
Enjoy these soft, thin, and delicious homemade crepes for a café-style treat right at home!
